Synthesis
The Narwhal and many other creatures in the world produce protein, sperm and blubber (fat) to keep their bodies warm in the cold Arctic water. Narwhals use respiration to produce energy for its body. the equation for respiration is glucose + oxygen --> carbon dioxide + water ( + energy).
Glucose-organic
Oxygen- inorganic
Carbon Dioxide- organic
Water- inorganic
Energy- inorganic
The Narwhal is an eukaryotic organism because its cells contain a nucleus and are enclosed by a membrane. As well as the nucleus and membrane the eukaryote cell has organelles and is much more complex than the eukaryote cell.

Biotic and Abiotic Factors Harming Narwhals
The Narwhal natural environment is the arctic ocean, surrounded by ice and very cold water. Two abiotic factors that harms the narwhal living environment of the narwhal are cruise ships and larger ships sailing through the arctic sea for tourism and entertainment. Another abiotic factor harming the narwhal is pollution melting the ice near the north and south poles. Without the ice biotic factors that are could harm the narwhal are predators ( killer whale) that feed on the narwhal. When the ice melts in the sub- Arctic it sends the other whales looking for colder water farther north to Greenland where the narwhals live. With larger population of fish there is greater competition for food. The narwhal being a smaller whale does not get the nutrients needed to live because of the bigger competitors taking over the narwhals territory. These issues can all be resolved by humans taking care of the environment and being aware of the decisions they make impact animals and plants all over the world.
